Environmental Stewardship

Antarctica Capital believes that Environmental, Social, and Governance (“ESG”) considerations promote responsible stewardship of the capital entrusted to us by our investors.

At Antarctica Capital, incorporating ESG is a collective effort.

As a long-term investor, we believe we have an obligation to proactively address ESG risks and opportunities as part of our investment strategy to create long-term sustainable value for our investors. ESG corresponds directly to a firm-wide commitment to distinction at every level and positioning ESG squarely in our investment process allows us to align with our customers, their service recipients, and the general, collective long-term benefits of equity interests.

Collaboration between investors, businesses and communities will be imperative to finding innovative solutions to address mounting climate change, food security, digital equity and environmental risks around the world. This belief drives Antarctica’s goal to put ESG front-and-center in our investment approach and operations.

Antarctica Capital has committed its capital to the implementation of a platform to monitor the sustainability of our investments at an asset level. We believe the ability to generate this data, irrespective of where assets are located globally, provides us with a market leading capability to monitor the sustainability, including environmental and social impact, of our investments. This monitoring platform will enable Antarctica Capital to ensure sustainability as an integral and differentiated part of our business model.
